Trevor Joyce, RPF, is the 74th president on the Association of BC Forest Professionals Council.
He was vice-president the previous year and will serve a second one-year term as president, followed by a third as immediate past-president.
Joyce has more than 20 years of experience in natural resource management, including First Nations relationships and partnerships, strategic and operational planning, timber pricing, silviculture, forest operations, and environmental audits. These experiences helped develop a solid foundation for business management and building positive relationships with colleagues, First Nations, communities, government, and other stakeholders.
Joyce prides himself in his professionalism, objectivity, and independence as a forest professional, and his desire to effect positive change in the forest sector and profession. He believes in volunteer activities and giving back to his professional and personal communities.
Joyce has served on the ABCFP Finance Committee, as well as ABCFP Council as a councillor at large.
