One of the goals of the ABCFP is to raise the profile
of the profession and forest professionals. We will
use this section of the website to keep members up
to date on the activities we are planning and to let
them know how they can help.
Thanks to Those who Participated in National Forest Week 2009
For National Forest Week (September 20-26, 2009), the ABCFP, launched an art contest and offered free memberships to our student program (START).

Jordan Leland, age 5, of North Vancouver, won the National Forest Week Art Contest hosted by the Association of BC Forest Professionals (ABCFP), Truck Loggers Association (TLA) and the BC Forest Safety Council in the 4-5 age category. Alice Kang, age 8, of Surrey, won in the 6-8 age category. While Lisa Ross, age 9, of Fernie, won in the 9-12 age category.
