Leave of Absence
If you are a registered member or an enrolled member and are taking a temporary break from the practice of professional forestry in BC, you may request permission to take a leave of absence. [more]
Retire
Retired membership allows you to remain actively involved with the profession and the affairs of the association. It is only available to registered members who are no longer practising professional forestry in BC. [more]
Life Membership
Life membership is a special honour available
to individuals who have made an exemplary contribution
to the profession of forestry or the practice of forest
technology. Life membership allows you to remain actively
involved with the profession and the affairs of the
association. As an added bonus, there is no annual membership
fee. [more]
Resign
If you are a registered member or special permit holder who is no longer practising professional forestry in British Columbia or an enrolled member who no longer wishes to pursue registration, you may request permission to resign from the association. [more]
Reinstatement
The requirements necessary to reinstate your membership will vary depending on the length of time that has passed since your membership ended, the reason your membership ended, and the activities in which you have been engaged since your membership ended. [more]
Transferring Membership
Occasionally, members of one membership category wish to change to a different membership category. You will need to request a transcript assessment to determine whether you meet the core competency requirements or need to complete additional course work. [more]
