Retire

Retired membership allows you to remain actively involved with the profession and the affairs of the association. It is only available to registered members who are no longer practising professional forestry in BC.

How to Apply for Retired Membership

  1. Determine your eligibility. To determine if you are eligible to apply for retired membership, please refer to the Change of Status Policy.

  2. Complete the Change of Status form.

  3. Submit the Change of Status form with the current annual membership fee for a Retired Member. See the Fees page for more information.

  4. Your request will be forwarded to the board of examiners for consideration.

Reinstatement
If you wish to return to practise, you may be eligible to reinstate your former membership class and category. See the Reinstatement page for more information.
