The ABCFP Policy Review Seminar is held for two days
each fall in various locations throughout British Columbia.
Discussions are led by experts from around the province
who take a professional approach to forest policy issues
by providing an overview of current acts, regulations
and policies that govern the practice of professional
forestry in British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity
for members to keep up to date with current issues and
policies that affect their forestry practice.
Forest Legislation and Policy Reference Guides
Each year, a forest legislation and policy reference guide is written/updated by forest management experts. This guide summarizes important and relevant forest policies that affect the practice of forestry in BC and can be used as a reference for those studying to write the ABCFP registration exams.
The 2010 Forest Legislation and Policy Reference Guide will be available in July.
The 2009 Forest Legislation and Policy Reference Guide is available in PDF version. It has been divided by chapter for easier downloading.
