In 1997, an award was established to recognize the
best BC Forest Professional (formerly FORUM) article
written by a member. The following year, a second award
was created to recognize the best letter written by
a member. In 2004, these awards were opened up to all
contributors. Each January, the editorial board selects
one article and one letter from the previous year which
best advance the profession and demonstrate superb writing
skills.
