Act Enforcement

The association and its members each have roles in helping to enforce the Foresters Act. There are two avenues for enforcement, depending on whether or not the individual in question is one of our members.

Complaints against Members
Our complaints resolution process is designed to resolve complaints made against members for issues of practice and conduct. [more]

Complaints against Non-members
Act enforcement actions are taken to enforce the rights of title and practice granted under the Foresters Act against non-members who engage in unauthorized practice or who use a title or designation reserved under the Foresters Act. The Foresters Act Enforcement Policy sets out the statutory authority on which these types of enforcement actions are based. It also describes the role of individual ABCFP members in enforcing the Foresters Act and the association’s role in enforcement actions.
