Code of Ethics

A code of ethics is a set of defined principles and rules of conduct that govern a group or organization. The association first adopted a Code of Ethics in 1951. Since then, it has been revised numerous times, most recently in January 1993. The Code of Ethics is enshrined in our current bylaws as Bylaw 11. All members are expected to abide by the Code of Ethics as a condition of membership.

An interpretive guide accompanies the Code of Ethics to assist members in its implementation.
